Praised for her „technically flawless playing“ and her „refined playful sensuousness“ (Peter Korfmacher, Leipziger Volkszeitung), Australian violinist Victoria Wong is one of the finest musicians of her generation. She began her musical journey at the age of four under the guidance of Rachel Miller and has since studied under esteemed teachers such as Prof. Goetz Richter, Prof. Ulf Wallin and most recently Prof. Nora Chastain at the University of the Arts Berlin.

In addition to being the winner of the 25th Gyarfas Competition, Victoria is a prizewinner of several international violin competitions such as the Mirecourt International Violin Competition (2021), the International Michael Hill Competition (2019), the International Arthur Grumiaux Competition (2018) and the International Max Rostal Competition (2015).

As a soloist, Victoria has performed with orchestras such as the Akademisches Orchester Leipzig, Brandenburger Symphoniker, Jenaer Philharmonie, JSO Dresden, JSO Berlin, Konzerthausorchester Berlin and the Orchestre de l'Opéra national de Lorraine.

Victoria’s versatility as a musician has also led to invitations to play as guest concertmaster with the Berliner Symphoniker, as well as serving as assistant concertmaster with the Deutscher Oper Berlin. She is also regularly invited to perform as a substitute with the prestigious Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

Her dedication and passion for chamber music has seen her collaborate with renowned musicians including Nora Chastain, Paul Coletti, Stefan Forck, Francis Gouton, Wolfgang Kühnl, Diana Ligeti, Yukako Morikawa, Marianne Piketty, Nikolaus Resa, and Ulf Wallin.

Performances have brought her to exceptional concert halls all around the world such as the Gewandhaus Leipzig, Haus der Berliner Festspiele, Konzerthaus Berlin, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Philharmonie Berlin, Semperoper Dresden, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Sydney Opera House, Weimarhalle and Wigmore Hall.
